Imagine you’ve been working on an image for quite awhile trying lots of different techniques when you decide you want to go back to a previous step or even just change direction entirely. The History Panel can be a real lifesaver by giving you the flexibility to go back instantly to any step in the process. It lists the different individual actions that you took to get where you are at the moment and is set up like your layers panel, in that it has different layers for each step that you’ve taken.
