There are lovely examples of how to use typography in advertising to full effect. I think type used in clever and unique ways, like above can be far more effective, iconic and thought provoking than any image.

This is another great collection! I think people often over look typography… Even though in my opinion its one of the hardest aspects of design to master, I also don’t think enough emphasis is put on typography in colleges and uni’s. And the serif is the new black!… Believe!

for me fonts(typography) are one of the most important things in a design y usually see them as the type of voice of the one who is speaking the message that helps alot but sometimes is just not enough.. i dislike serifs for some reason but they are the more readable types so ¬¬ i end up using them alot anyways..
