Discovering a talent
I started “designing” around 1990 because there was a Mac IIsi in my home and I used to play around with it, (my father is a designer). When I realized I could actually make a living designing, it was an obvious choice. I went off to design school and haven’t stopped working since… always trying to learn more and improve.
Favourite softwares
Photoshop is king – it’s just so flexible and fluid. Illustrator is queen – there’s no better way to set type. My pen is the court jester – I still need to use manual skills, I’ll always need to draw. I’m learning 3D design… using modo. It’s hard to find time, so it’s a slow process, but I think it will be a great help my workflow.
